Abda is a figure mentioned in the {{wikipedia:Books of Kings}} of the Bible. He is noted as the father of Adoniram, who was Solomon’s officer in charge of forced levy[1].

In Freemasonry, Abda's name is used in some of the higher degrees.[2] However, Lenning in the Encyclopedie der Freimaurerei is noted as being incorrect in stating that Abda is represented by one of the officers in the degree of Master in Israel, having confused Abda with his son Adoniram[3].
